By joining the Young Lung Cancer Study, you can make a difference and help us better understand how and why lung cancer develops in young adults. Please join our effort to understand more about lung cancer in young people by completing our short survey. Our study team will then be in touch.

Who can join the Young Lung Cancer Study?

You may be eligible to join our study if:

  • You have been diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) or small cell lung cancer (SCLC)
    and
  • You were 45 years old or younger at the time of diagnosis

What is involved in participating in the Young Lung Cancer Study?

Participating in our study means you will be asked to:

  • Speak with a member of our study team, who will reach out after you complete our eligibility form.
  • Fill out two short questionnaires about your medical and family history.
  • Share a copy of your medical records related to your cancer diagnosis. All records are kept confidential.
  • Give blood and/or saliva samples for our study at no cost to you (we’ll arrange for the collection at your convenience).
  • Consider giving permission to release tissue samples to us from any procedures you have had (e.g., biopsies or surgery).
